Our mental health services
At our facility, you'll find a variety of services that work to provide you with mental clarity and helpful tools for daily life. Services include:
- Access to inpatient care at Medical City Mental Health & Wellness Center Alliance in Fort Worth
- Behavioral assessments
- Crisis stabilization
- Group therapy
- Medication support
- Referrals to local mental health resources
Group therapy
Group therapy is recommended if you feel you would benefit from social support. Our program is directed towards adults aged 18 and older, and all sessions are facilitated by an experienced, licensed therapist. These discussions create a safe and healing environment through shared experiences.
In group therapy, you'll work towards functioning more effectively at home, school, work and in the community. Additionally, we'll help you overcome personal challenges, while teaching healthy coping skills that empower you to take control of your emotions.
Mental health assessments
Take charge of your mental health with confidential behavioral assessments. If you or a loved one is experiencing a period of mental struggle, the results of this evaluation will help our team determine the right level of service moving forward. Same-day assessment appointments are available for your convenience, and no referral is necessary. We accept most major insurance plans.
When to seek an assessment
Our clinic provides professional, confidential assessments to determine the most appropriate level of mental health support and outpatient group therapy. You don’t have to wait for a crisis to get help. An assessment can be the right choice if you or someone you care about is:
- Experiencing changes in behavior, appetite, or sleep
- Facing difficulties with daily functioning or relationships
- Recovering from a traumatic event or recent hospitalization
- Struggling with anxiety, depression, or mood swings
- Unsure of what type of mental health support is needed
What to expect at your assessment
Your visit will include a private assessment with a licensed mental health professional who will:
- Listen to your concerns and history
- Evaluate symptoms and needs
- Recommend an appropriate level of care
- Help you access services and resources
