Accessibility services (ADA accommodations)

We strive to make our facility accessible to all patients. Wheelchairs are available at the main entrance, and all public areas are designed for accessibility. If you need assistance, please speak with a staff member.

Interpreter services

Interpreter services are available for non-English-speaking patients and families. For assistance, please call (817) 255-1000.

Meals

Patients receive assistance with the selection of their daily meals, which are recommended by physicians and registered dietitians on staff. Contact Food and Nutrition Services at (817) 255-1651.

Parking

Free patient and visitor parking is available at both the Main Entrance and Outpatient Services entrances of the hospital.

Patient advocates

Our leadership team is available to answer any questions you may have regarding hospital procedures, accommodating special needs and/or to advocate on your behalf regarding questions or concerns. If you're a patient, ask to speak with your nurse for prompt resolution. Or call: (817) 255-1194.

Security

Medical City North Hills has a dedicated 24-hour security team patrolling the campus. They respond promptly to any concerns, requests and lost and found inquiries. For security assistance, call (817) 255-1000 or dial "00" from any hospital phone.

Smoking policy

Smoking and tobacco use are not permitted anywhere on the hospital grounds, including outdoor areas and parking lots. Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy environment.

Social services

Patients sometimes require special needs while in the hospital and when planning to return home. Our licensed social workers and case managers provide a variety of services to assist patients, their families and friends. Please tell your nurse if you would like to connect with a social worker.

Spiritual support & chapel

The hospital chapel is located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital. The Chapel is open at all times to every denomination.

Chaplains are available to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and friends. To request chaplain services, call the Hospital Operator or tell your nurse you would like a chaplain visit.

Visiting hours

Visitors are allowed 24 hours per day. After 7:00 pm, enter through the emergency entrance.

A parent or guardian must remain with patients under 18 years old at all times.

Two visitors are allowed per patient at a time. Additional visitors may wait in designated waiting areas.

Please respect quiet hours and patient privacy during your visit.

Valuables and personal belongings

We request that you leave all valuables at home. Medical City North Hills does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen valuables or personal items. If necessary, your nurse can arrange to store small items in the hospital safe.
