Medical City Fort Worth opened its new, three-story patient tower in 2019, including a new emergency department with 30 patient rooms and several specialty rooms.

When you arrive at Medical City Fort Worth's ER, you'll be taken to a private room for consultation with our nursing staff, then treatment by a physician. Before you're discharged, your attending physician will review your care plan with you or make arrangements to have you seamlessly admitted to the hospital for continued care.

Arriving to the ER

Medical City Fort Worth's ER is located at the corner of Ninth Avenue and West Humbolt Street. Marked signs will direct you to drive up a small ramp to reach our ER building. There is a patient drop-off zone at the door and free parking available next to the building for your convenience. There are also additional parking lots and garages throughout the hospital campus.
