Medical City Alliance to host annual Spooktacular October 25
Fort Worth, Texas — Community members are invited to the 11th annual Spooktacular and Fall Festival at Medical City Alliance on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10:00am – 2:00pm. This free, family-friendly event draws more than 2,500 attendees each year and features music, games, food, and — of course — candy!
Guests can enjoy a wide variety of festive activities including trick-or-treating, a costume contest, face painting and themed games. This year’s Spooktacular, themed ‘Heroes and Villains,’ honors our hospital colleagues who embody the hero spirit every day, while inviting families to enjoy the lighthearted side of the villains that can make Halloween fun. The event will again feature popular attractions such as a scavenger hunt, photos with a fire truck and medical transport helicopter, a pumpkin decorating contest and more.
Prizes for the best kids’ costumes will be awarded hourly and attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween best.
In the spirit of giving, Medical City Alliance will also host its annual canned food drive to benefit Community Storehouse, a nonprofit serving Tarrant County families in need. Attendees are encouraged to bring one nonperishable food item per person for donation upon entry to support families in need, reinforcing Medical City Healthcare’s commitment to caring for the community and creating healthier tomorrows.
“Spooktacular is a special tradition that allows us to connect with our community in a fun, meaningful way,” says Glenn Wallace, CEO of Medical City Alliance. “We’re proud to offer a safe and festive environment for families, while also supporting important local causes like Community Storehouse.”
Since opening in 2015, Medical City Alliance has welcomed thousands of families to its annual Spooktacular event — celebrating health, community and Halloween fun all in one.
