Diagnostic imaging in Dallas, Texas
The imaging center at Medical City Heart Hospital, a Medical City Dallas facility, delivers high-quality diagnostic scans and provides compassionate, professional care to the North Texas community.
Our imaging center offers advanced technology and world-renowned radiologists. We strive to produce high-quality medical imagery and put our patients' needs first.
Accredited medical imaging
Our diagnostic imaging services have American College of Radiology accreditations, including:
- Computed tomography (CT)
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
- Ultrasound
- Nuclear medicine
In addition to these achievements, we offer 3T MRI, which is twice as powerful as a standard MRI and produces higher-resolution images. This can support more accurate diagnoses, especially for conditions involving organs and small structures like blood vessels. We also offer impressive 64-slice CT scans.
We perform sniff tests, which are evaluations of the diaphragm, a muscle between the chest and abdomen that rises and lowers as you breath in and out. This test is performed for patients who have shortness of breath or dyspnea (difficulty breathing).
In addition to those mentioned above, we offer the following imaging services:
- Diagnostic radiology
- Fluoroscopy
- Positron emission tomography (PET)
- Special procedures (SP)
Board-certified radiologists
The radiologists at our imaging center are board certified and dedicated to providing superior service. Many of them have sub-specialties, including cardiovascular radiology. We always have a radiologist available for consultation.

How can I obtain a copy of my results
You can obtain your test results from your physician, our medical records department or Medical City Imaging.
