Congenital Heart Surgery Unit (CHSU)
If needed, Medical City Arlington partners with the Medical City Children’s Congenital Heart Surgery program to accommodate hundreds of children who undergo heart operations. Cases range in complexity from hypoplastic left heart syndrome to atrial and ventricular septal defects. Our heart program's success attracts referrals from across the country.
Maternal pediatric and neonatal transport teams
Whether you have a scheduled or emergency delivery, our teams stand ready to bring you and your baby to our hospital through ground, helicopter or airplane transport, as needed. Because the best place for a high-risk baby during pregnancy is the mother's womb, our maternal transport team provides the best chance of extending pregnancy while moving mom to a higher level of care.
