Prevention and early detection are key factors in stroke treatment and identification. Seek emergency care immediately if you or a loved one experience the following stroke symptoms:
- Weakness or numbness of the face, leg or arm (especially on one side of body)
- Confusion or trouble speaking and understanding
- Severe headache with no known cause

How to get to our emergency room (ER)
If you suspect you or a loved one may be experiencing a stroke, please dial 911 immediately. The ER at Medical City Arlington provides 24/7 emergency care. Our ER entrance is located on the east side of campus and faces West Mayfield Road. Please note that the entrance for the ER is separate from the main hospital entrance. We provide free lot parking for patients and visitors.
