Dallas, Texas — Mark Deno has been named chief executive officer (CEO) of Medical City McKinney, starting Aug. 1. Deno replaces former CEO Ernest Lynch, who retired in July after more than 20 years of distinguished service.

“Mark has a proven track record of strategic leadership and focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare at every facility he has led,” says Allen Harrison, president of Medical City Healthcare. “With Medical City McKinney’s long history of outstanding care in the community, I am confident Mark and his leadership team will elevate the hospital to the next level of healthcare excellence.”

Deno served previously as CEO of Medical City North Hills since August 2019, where he helped grow the hospital into a community leader. During that time, Medical City North Hills received numerous five-star ratings for specialty care from Healthgrades, including cardiac, critical care, gastrointestinal, neurosciences and orthopedics. The laboratory earned CAP accreditation and the hospital has been recertified as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. Deno also helped strategically add elite, all-digital robotic surgical platforms to enhance patient outcomes. He began his HCA Healthcare career in 2014 as the chief operating officer at The Medical Center of Aurora in Colorado.

Mark earned a Master of Business Administration from American Intercontinental University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University.
