12-year-old Phillip Casazza had an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) of the brain, which was successfully treated at Medical City Children's Hospital.

12-year-old Phillip Casazza was at school when he suffered a severe headache. After consulting with the school nurse office, Phillip's father arrived in time to request that Phillip be rushed the emergency room at Medical City Children's Hospital. Phillip had an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) of the brain, which David Sacco, MD, Medical Director for the Medical City Children's Pediatric Neurosurgery Program, was able to remove surgically with no complications.
