The pharmacy at Medical City Decatur, a campus of Medical City Denton, provides automated refills, curbside pickup, medication education, medication disposal and home delivery.

Community care pharmacy

Community members and employees also rely on us for our many pick-up options and low-cost common medications. If you are an inpatient at our hospital or are here for same-day surgery or emergency visits, we can fill your prescriptions on discharge.

Our hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 11:00am to 3:00pm. We are closed on Sunday.

Curbside pick-up

Enjoy the ease of curbside pickup for all of your prescription needs. Pick up your prescriptions without leaving the comfort of your car.

Place your order with our automated refill system by calling (940) 626-2555. We'll let you know when your prescription is ready via text message.

When you arrive, park in the designated curbside delivery parking and text or call. We will bring your prescription to you. Text the following information:

  • Capital W (space) your prescription number
  • Parking spot number
  • Make, model and color of your vehicle

Home delivery

Enjoy the ease of home delivery for all of your prescription needs.

In addition to our curbside delivery service, we also offer prescription home delivery to our community. If you live within a 20-mile radius of the pharmacy, our technician will deliver prescriptions directly to your home.

A few things to note when using this service:

  • A courtesy call will be made when the technician is on the way.
  • An adult must be present to sign for and accept the medication(s).
  • Payments can be made in advance using a credit card by calling the pharmacy, or the technician can accept payments with a mobile device at delivery.
  • Prescriptions can be refills or new if called in, faxed or e-scribed to the pharmacy by your doctor’s office.
  • Same-day delivery requests must be made in the morning so they are ready to be delivery in the late afternoon.

Medication discounts

We offer a range of medications available at a discounted rate. Our list includes discounted cash prices for a standard one-month or three-month supply. No insurance is needed to get the medications at these prices.

For cash-paying patients, these discounted medications are an affordable option for the most common classes of drugs. You can get a copy of a medications list from our pharmacy, and use it as a reference when speaking with your doctor to find alternatives to expensive medications.


Medication disposal

Do you or your relatives have a medicine cabinet full of old medications? Bring them and drop them in our med return box. They will be disposed of in a secure and environmentally responsible way, no questions asked.

What to bring:

  • Creams and vials
  • Expired prescriptions (controlled and noncontrolled)
  • Ointments, patches, non-aerosol sprays and inhalers
  • Over-the-counter (OTC) medication

Please do not bring:

  • Biohazardous materials (anything containing bodily liquid or blood)
  • Household hazardous waste (plant, pesticides, oil, gas or acids)
  • Illegal drugs, needles (sharps), syringes or aerosol cans
  • IV bags or medical devices
  • Mercury thermometers
  • Personal care products (shampoo, soaps, lotions, etc.)
  • Pet medication
