Biography
Kayla Mapps, MD is a board-certified OBGYN Women’s Specialists of Plano. Dr. Mapps was born and raised in the Dallas metroplex, graduating from Irving High School in Irving, Texas. She attended Prairie View A&M where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology. Dr. Mapps received her medical degree from UT Health Science Center Medical School in Houston, Texas. During this time, Dr. Mapps felt most drawn to women’s health, which sparked her pursuit in OB/GYN.
