Rafael Canadas Zizzias, MD

Dr. Rafael Canadas completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New york, one of the most prestigious medical schools in the country. He is board certified and a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, he is a Specialist in Clinical Research, and is a Certified Physician Investigator (CPl) by the Association of Clinical Research professionals (ACRP). Dr. Canadas is engaged in a very active, well established and highly respected private practice in Internal Medicine, and he has been dedicated to Pharmacological Clinical Trials for over ’16 years. He has participated as a Principal Investigator in more than 100 research studies. Dr. Canadas is an active member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society, and Texas Medical Association. He holds a Physician Recognition Award by the American Board Association (AMA), and is a member of the Texas Medical Foundation (TMF) Health Quality institute for demonstrating continued commitment to improving the quality of health care in Texas. He is also fluent in both English and Spanish.
