Rebecca grew up in Denton County, graduating from Marcus High School in Flower Mound. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi where she graduated cum laude. She then went on to receive her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
