$5,000 raised at Parker County Peach Festival by Medical City Weatherford
Weatherford, Texas — Medical City Weatherford served up their crowd-favorite “Original Peach Julep” at the 40th Annual Parker County Peach Festival, raising $5,000 to benefit the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund.
A beloved tradition founded by the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce in 1984, the Parker County Peach Festival celebrates the agricultural heritage of the community and highlights the local peach industry. Medical City Weatherford supports the event and joined the annual festivities once again, serving more than 1,000 cups of its signature Peach Julep to thirsty festivalgoers.
“We are honored to participate in the Parker County Peach Festival, a celebration that brings our community together and a great tradition,” says Allen Marsh, Medical City Weatherford’s CEO. “This event reflects the heart of our mission, above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life, by fostering connection, wellness, and the spirit of togetherness that makes Parker County so special.”
Proceeds will benefit the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund, a 501(c)3 charity that provides emergency assistance to HCA Healthcare colleagues in times of need, including illness, injury, natural disasters and other challenging circumstances affecting their essential needs.
